What’s your role in the art world? Are you a collector?

I’m definitely an art appreciator. Growing up, I went to a lot of museums and galleries. I studied art in high school and took a few classes in art during college and grad school. Never full time or professionally, but a big admirer.

How’d you get into healthcare? And do you like it?

I do like healthcare a lot as well. In college, I studied economics and biology. I’m very passionate about both. I went to grad school to study public health.

Who are some artists you admire?

That’s a big question. Recently, I really liked Kehinde Wiley at Trump Kelly gallery. The show was really great. I love Andrea Gursky the photographer and Wolfgang Tillmans.

Have you ever tried being an artist yourself?

I’ve tried a little but, but I need to practice more.

Would you take art classes?

Absolutely.
