How did your experience studying art at NYU influence your career as an artist?

I think being in New York was honestly a big pro when it comes to being in the art world because you’re surrounded by so many galleries and I feel like spending time in the city prepares you for post graduation.

Are you in any galleries right now?

No, currently I’m unemployed. I’m trying to work at a gallery.

What would your ideal job be?

I’m trying to look for different jobs in Chelsea right now because I love all the galleries in that neighborhood.

And studying art at NYU what did you take from being in New York in terms of your perspective?

I think I’m just really inspired by a lot of the people who live here. And seeing my professors not just as professors but they’re also working artists, and I’m watching their careers right now which is really interesting.
