Tell me about your poetry.

I write poems about families and cities. Mostly short lyric poems. 

How does your role as a mom impact your artistry and poems?

Well half the time it’s part of my subject because it’s how I spend my time and what I devote to my life and my world. 

What do you like most about being a mom?

I like being able to see people experience the world for the very first time and get excited about things I forgot were exciting.
