Tell me a little bit about what you do as an art manager.
Basically, I do administrative work for artists so they can focus on their craft and not worry about the path they’re going to take. I help them get funding and clients, and potential partnerships.
Who are some notable artists you’ve worked with?
I’m just starting in this business so I can’t really give you any big names but I’m now also working with art organizations that are supporting young artists.
Do you think it’s important to support the arts in the school system and why?
Absolutely. Art is a big part of education overall, and when children are exposed to the arts at a young age it opens up the potential for success.
