As an artist what inspires your creativity?

Color, seeing art, seeing other artists. Form, sculpture. I’m obsessed with different mediums.

Who are some artists you admire?

Portia Munson, Zoe Buckman. Those are some fantastic artists in the New York area. 

What’s a good way to get your foot in the door in the New York art market?

Just keep making work, being prolific. 

Where’s your studio located?

It’s in Ridgewood, Queens.

What inspires you specifically when you’re making art in your studio?

Trying to make the inner world visible is the biggest thing.
